Mallow has a great tradition of learning and has a comprehensive educational infrastructure. 

Mallow boasts a good mix of community-based and private childcare facilities which offer excellent service and represent good value for money.

We are fortunate to have six primary schools, including a modern Gaelscoil and three fine secondary schools. These provide a great choice of single sex and co-education schools. Our schools are noted for their committed teaching staff, their high standards of education and the provision of extra-curricular activities.

The three secondary schools, Davis College, Patrician Academy and St Marys cater for over 1,600 students from the town and hinterland and have first class buildings and facilities. In addition, Buttevant and Doneraile both have co-education secondary schools of their own.
