CanTalk Mallow
CanTalk is a cancer support group in Mallow supporting adults affected by a diagnosis of cancer.
Started in February 2015, and running all year round with open access to new members to join at any time, the service is FREE OF CHARGE to attendees.
Their focus is to provide a safe, confidential and supportive environment to talk through fears, worries and anxieties, with tears and laughter through sharing with others on a similar journey whilst being supported by trained facilitators with empathy and understanding.
CanTalk are an independent charity who do not receive any financial support from other bodies, Government or otherwise, and rely on your donations.
To support these services and to celebrate their 4th year in operation, a fundraising concert has been organised for Saint James Church on Friday 10th May at 8pm sharp.
A mixture of musical and poetic talents from many genres will perform in the wonderfully acoustic surrounds of the church.
Performers attending include: Cahirmee Singers, Laochra, Ballyhooley Choir, Cuisle Avondhu, Various Voices, Jacob, Lilliana, Vladimir, Aoife, Dearbhla and four local poets.
To book your tickets please phone/text 089-239 0863 or e-mail enquiries@cantalk.ie
Tickets should also be available at the church door on the night.
PLEASE SUPPORT AND THANK YOU.
