Mallow Heritage & Tourism

The Heritage & Tourism committee of Mallow Development Partnership has over the past few months been working with local tourism providers and Cork County Council to initiate a credible tourism ‘experience’ for Mallow and its wider area.

With Fáilte Ireland predicting an ongoing increase of visitor numbers to Ireland over the next few years, and its Wild Atlantic Way brand now focused on promoting tourism to its inland regions, it is important that Mallow and North Cork are geared up to benefit.

This work will continue over the summer months with the intention of a convincing and attractive experience being presented for our area, and being supported as well as promoted by Fáilte Ireland through its formidable online network.

Any persons interested in this project or who feel they have something to offer would be very welcome to participate in the committee.

Being a volunteer organisation, the Heritage & Tourism committee of Mallow Development Partnership will hold Church Gate Collections on this coming Bank Holiday Weekend at St. Mary's Church and the Church of the Resurrection.

Your support would be greatly appreciated.
